Move the way you want, for as long as you want.
Regain mobility, get out of pain,
and build the skills you’ve always wanted.

You’ve been training your whole life: CrossFit, lifting, sports.
But after years of redlining all the time, you’re beat up and sore.
You used to be able to put your body through the wringer and be fine the next day. Now, you get injured and it just lingers. You’re not bouncing back like you used to.
You’ve tried everything under the sun to feel better: 30-day mobility plans, physical therapy, massage… but none of it has worked in the long run.
So you’ve started feeling hesitant in your own body.
You train like you’re injured and avoid doing certain moves.
You create new problems by doing things the wrong way.
You’re never 100% sure if what you’re doing is working.
You don’t want to wake up dreading how your body’s going to feel anymore. You want to train without fear of making things worse.
The way you trained at 20 wasn’t sustainable. You just had the buffer to get away with it.
You’ve tried everything to feel good in your body again.
But nothing has worked the way you hoped.
1. You tried to fix it yourself.
You’ve spent hours stretching, foam rolling, and piecing together mobility drills from Instagram and YouTube. You’ve followed 30-day programs that promised to “unlock” your hips or “bulletproof” your shoulders.
But nothing stuck. Those programs were built for “everyone,” which is another way of saying they were built for “no one.” They might be good for beginners, but they don’t evolve with you. They can’t see your history of injuries or your goals.
And after a long day at work, the last thing you want to do is spend your precious free time planning out your next day’s program, only to wonder if it’s actually working.
2. You hired a coach.
Your past trainers helped for a while. They gave you exercises and a schedule, and you did get stronger.
But when your goals shifted towards calisthenics, you started doubting their guidance. It felt more like 10 things to try instead of a big-picture strategy. You started to question if it would get you where you want to go.
And if you’re someone who values autonomy — training at home, while traveling, or without someone hovering over you — that traditional in-person model just doesn’t fit.
You’re looking for a coach who can give you a clear path to your target skills and let you move through it on your time. Someone who actually walks the walk and knows how to teach the skills you’re aiming for.
Right now, you’re stuck in the gap: too experienced for beginner programs, but too frustrated with pain or plateaus to keep doing what you’re doing.
How Do I Know? I’ve Been There.
I used to think more weight and faster reps meant better results.
For nearly a decade, CrossFit was my sport. Before that, it was years of traditional lifting and athletics. I lifted heavy and looked strong, even “flexible” enough to overhead squat 300 lbs with a snatch grip… but with a closer grip, I couldn’t even squat an empty bar.
I had nerve pain down my legs that kept me from sleeping. I’d foam roll and stretch for half an hour just to get under the bar, then chase PRs with burning joints and a fistful of ibuprofen.
Mobility work didn’t help. Rest didn’t help. And “pushing through it” only made it worse.
The breakthrough came when I stopped trying to fix everything at once and started approaching my training with intention.
I slowed down and focused on movement quality before anything else. My new mantra became “intensity must be earned.” Bit by bit, I rebuilt my body. I worked through pain that felt permanent. And I developed strength, mobility, and control in ways I never thought possible.
Not because I’m naturally gifted — I don’t have a gymnastics background. I didn’t grow up doing handstands or flipping around on rings. I had to earn every piece of it.
That’s why I coach the way I do now. Because I know what it’s like to feel stuck and to question whether your best training days are behind you.
I’ve worked with pro athletes, former military, everyday lifters, and people who thought they’d never feel good in their body again. And I know the truth: your body can still adapt. It just needs the right input.
You don’t need to move perfectly.
You don’t need to be flexible already.
You just need to show up willing to work and open to doing things differently.
Introducing:
Height Performance Coaching
Fully personalized strength and mobility coaching for recovering PR chasers who want to train for the next 30 years, not the next 30 days.
This is 1-on-1 coaching from me: a former CrossFit competitor who rebuilt his body through intentional programming after years of burnout and injuries.
I never use templates. I build your plan from scratch based on how you move and what your goals are.
My Coaching Style
I didn’t grow up doing gymnastics. I came to my mobility practice later in life. I changed my approach after years of lifting heavy and dealing with chronic injuries.
I coach the way I wish someone had coached me back then.
That means I use a methodical and steady approach to mobility. No 30-day “get flexible fast” programs here. Some clients improve quickly, others more slowly. We move at your pace and build gradually. That way you avoid unnecessary injuries from forcing range of motion that your body isn’t ready to handle.
This is training for the long haul. It’s for people who want to feel stronger and actually enjoy being in their body again.
If that’s you, let’s build you a body that holds up for the next few decades.
Why Height Performance Coaching?
This coaching is for you if:
You’ve hit a plateau with calisthenics, rings, or mobility goals
You’ve worked with trainers before, but they didn’t understand your goals, or they pushed you into pain
You want to acquire skills like handstands or muscle-ups but don’t know how to adjust your programming
You want to keep making progress, but without burning out or wasting more time on trial and error
You’ve tried DIY, and now you’re ready to have someone actually help you improve
You train regularly, but you still feel stiff, restricted, or in pain
You’ve followed all the mobility plans and recovery trends but still feel like something’s missing
You’re not just trying to “get back to where you were.” You want to move better than ever.

Most people find me because they want to:
get out of pain
get more mobile
acquire a new skill
But they stay because they start to realize something even more powerful:
You can trust your body again.
Not just to make it through a workout, but to handle whatever life throws at it: a run, a hike, a handstand, or chasing your kid across the lawn.
You want to feel strong, capable, and pain-free (and yeah, if an athletic physique comes with it, all the better.) You’ve done the solo route and tried to “just stay consistent.” But at a certain point, you hit a wall. Not because you’re unmotivated, but because you’ve outgrown generic programs.
If you’ve been coached before, then you already know:
You can move the ball so much further, so much faster, when you work with someone who can tailor a program to the specific limits of your body.

This coaching gives you a completely different level of support:
A plan 100% built around your goals that is guaranteed to work if you follow it
Personalized guidance from me whenever you feel stuck
A partner who sees the big picture
That’s the important part about having a coach. It’s someone who can see the forest for the trees.
You’re “in it” all the time, so it’s crucial to have someone who can give you perspective. And if your goal is to develop your bodyweight strength and mobility, trial and error costs you time and progress.
If you want to achieve the skills you see Zack doing, there’s really only one way to do that, and it’s with the guidance of someone. You’re going to get there faster and more effectively, with less trial and tribulations, if you work with him. And it won’t be repetitive and boring.”

What do we actually do?
To get where you want to go, you’ll need a map. We start with a Zoom call so I can get to know you and your goals. Then I create a movement assessment to see where you’re starting. That gives us Point A and Point Z. Your training plan guides you through points B, C, D, etc., and evolves with you through each 4-week cycle.
We use the TrueCoach app, where you get:
Your personalized program
Demo videos
Written coaching cues
A place to upload training notes and videos for feedback
You record weights, reps, time durations, and post key videos for review. This is a collaborative process, and I expect you to be an active participant.
Each training cycle gives us more information, so we keep refining what’s working and course-correcting where we need to.
Personalized Feedback Whenever You Need It
I encourage you to upload videos to the TrueCoach app, and I watch every one of them. Then I give you feedback that’s actually useful (not just a “good job” or generic advice.) I also send personalized demo clips so you know exactly what to fix.
My clients find this part of the process valuable:
Zack can tell from the videos if I’m compensating. For example, I dislocated my shoulder in the past so I tend to favor it. His ability to understand that and work not around it but with it, like doing more weight on the left side to balance it out, is really helpful.”
— JIM B., AGE 68, CLIENT SINCE 2024
It feels very tailored. I’ve worked with some of the best coaches in the world and I keep coming back to him. A lot of other coaches just plug you into a system. Zack listens.”
— MATT C., AGE 35, CLIENT SINCE 2018
Two-Way Communication About Your Program
Your input matters as much as the workouts themselves. Drop notes after each session about how your body feels, what’s improving, and where you’re stuck. I use that feedback to fine-tune your program for the next cycle.
You feel the results. Fewer aches, more control, and inching closer to your target skills.
Like Rachel, who had a major breakthrough in post-injury shoulder mobility while working with me:
Or my client Leah, who got her press to handstand, front splits, back bend, first bar muscle up, and is now working on her one arm handstand.
Can a Coach Really Teach You Through Video?
It’s a fair question. If you’ve only worked with trainers in person, it’s hard to imagine getting the same level of instruction online.
Not only does video coaching work… it often works better.
When you film your movements, I can pause, slow down, and analyze every angle to spot the smallest details. Then I give you precise cues you can replay and revisit anytime, instead of trying to remember what someone said in the moment at the gym.
My clients are often surprised by how clear and actionable the feedback is:
“A lot of trainers are good at demonstrating a movement, but they don’t do a good job of putting that movement into words and giving you instructions on how to do it.
Zack’s got a real strong ability to put movement into words and cue certain positions with your body, things to think about and focus on. He does a great job translating movements into words”
— JAMES, AGE 45
INDIANA
Indiana is a 37-year-old former CrossFitter and pro athlete who beat up his body training since his early teens. One day, he saw a video of himself running and thought, “I’m stiff as a f****** board.” He wanted to improve his mobility and move with freedom and confidence.
After working with me for 3 years, he says:
“The freedom I experience in my body, just to be able to do whatever I want — mountain biking, going for a run — the freedom to pop in and trust that my body’s going to be okay regardless of the circumstance is really nice. And my handstands have improved significantly.”
GREG
Greg, a 53-year-old attorney and lifelong athlete, had been training hard since the age of 15. He had tendinitis and shoulder pain as well as burnout from self-programming. He wanted to stay fit while aging and reduce his pain.
After 3 years of working with me, he says:
“This is the best shape I’ve ever been in in my life. I would even say better than when I was in my early 20s, when I was really, really training hard.”
JIM
Jim, a 68-year-old ultra-marathon runner, had 2 meniscus surgeries and an achilles surgery, plus a dislocated shoulder in the past. He came back from a 100 mile race aching from head to toe and thought, “I gotta do something different if I want to keep doing this.” After 18 months of working with me, he says:
“I found muscles that weren’t there before. I’m far more mobile than I was. Most importantly, I recover faster from what I do. Big weeks, I run 100 miles. I'm able to go out and run the next day after training hard. I’m a much better person when I both run and work out, and Zack helps me keep doing that.”
HENRI
Henri, 47, had been strength training for several years when he got into calisthenics and found me. He wanted to improve skills like handstand and pull-ups, feel good in his body, increase flexibility, and avoid strain. For him, the transformation has been mental as well as physical:
“I used to think, ‘The more I sweat, the better the workout is.’ And that’s one thing I learned here: I don't have to do that all the time. I also enjoy that I train a lot but I never feel stiff, like so stiff that I can’t walk or do things.”
Through targeted and intentional training, my clients are:
Moving pain-free after years of CrossFit or powerlifting injuries.
Building strong, confident handstands (even when they couldn’t hold one for more than 2 seconds before).
Developing advanced skills like muscle-ups, splits, front levers, and press-to-handstands.
Overcoming chronic tightness like locked-up shoulders and hamstrings that once felt like guitar strings.
Learning how to train sustainably and still make progress, without feeling beat up or burnt out.
Maxime was already strong and motivated. He did yoga, calisthenics, lifting, and even taught handstand and calisthenic classes. He’d been working on his one-arm handstand for over a year, but without a program, he wasn’t getting there.
Once he hired me, we focused on the drills holding him back. After 3 months, he could hold a one-arm handstand for 10 seconds. Six months in, he doubled it to over 20 seconds.

Your Results Are Guaranteed
I know my coaching works. But I also know it’s an investment of time, effort, and money.
SO HERE’S MY PROMISE
If you maintain at least 90% workout completion (including uploading all requested videos) for 3 months and don’t see progress, I’ll give you your money back.
Why 90%? Because results come from showing up and following the plan. If you do the work and still don’t see progress, I’ll take the risk off your shoulders.
I offer this because I want you to succeed, and I only work with people who are serious about their results.
The longer you keep guessing, the more time you waste. And the harder it is to undo the damage of doing “more” without moving better.
This is your opportunity to build the skills you’ve always wanted (muscle-ups, press-to-handstands, splits) and feel confident in your body for decades.
It won’t be easy, and it won’t be a quick fix, but we will get you where you want to go.
