Build a Body That Moves How You Want It To
For the Rest of Your Life
Most people train hard.
Fewer train well.
If you’re here, chances are you’ve been putting in the work. You lift, you train consistently, you push hard.
But something still isn’t clicking.
Maybe you’re dealing with injuries. Maybe you’re not making progress on your handstands, splits, or mobility. Or maybe you’re starting to wonder if the aches and frustration are just part of getting older.
I know because I’ve been there.
Here I am competing at the Northern California CrossFit Regional Competition in 2012.
For years, CrossFit was my world.
I went all out in every single training session. Lift as heavy as heavy as possible, as fast as possible. I thought if I could just push harder, I’d get better.
And it “worked.” I was strong. To the untrained eye, I even looked mobile. I mean, I could overhead squat 300 lbs.
But the way I was training wasn’t sustainable. I was in my 20s, so I could get away with it. At the time, I didn’t realize I was racking up a debt my body would eventually come to collect.
By 30, I was dealing with nerve pain and injuries that wouldn’t heal. I couldn’t shake the creeping thought: Maybe my best training days were behind me.
That’s when I realized: Moving better mattered more than lifting heavier.
I stopped thinking of strength, mobility, and skill-building as separate things and started blending them into a single approach with intention.
That balance is what rebuilt my body from the ground up.
It’s been 6+ years of training this way. Am I as strong as I possibly could be? Probably not.
But at 40 years old:
My movement quality and body control are better than ever.
I can do everything I want to do without pain.
And I can do stuff like this.
Now, I help other motivated athletes find that same movement freedom.
The Philosophy Behind Height Performance
Training well means so much more than doing the right number of sets and reps. It’s about the process — the way your body adapts and improves over time.
What I’ve learned after coaching 200+ athletes and movers:
There isn’t one “right” way to train.
The most strict and scientific program works for very few people.
Most of us need structure and adaptability working together.
Confidence and intensity are earned through conquering progressive challenges.
My goal is not to force you into someone else’s system. It’s to give you the tools to build your own.
Because when you understand why you’re doing something, you show up differently. You get better results, and you enjoy the process more.

Over the last decade, I’ve coached hundreds of ultra runners, Olympic sailors, CrossFit athletes, martial artists, and everyday people who just want to move better and feel stronger.
Some come to me to unlock handstands or splits. Others are rebuilding their body after injuries or trying to train more sustainably as they get older. And many are just tired of being frustrated that their training isn’t getting them where they want to go.
Wherever you’re starting, the process is the same:
Build strength without losing mobility.
Improve control and body awareness.
Train in a way you can sustain for decades.
Who I Work With
Why It Matters
I’m not willing to choose between strength and flexibility. That’s because going “all in” on one path comes with too many trade-offs. Blending them gives me the best of both worlds: all the strength I need, all the mobility I want, and the ability to keep moving well as I age.
That’s what I want for you, too. A way to train that respects your body and holds up over time, so you can keep doing the things you love for the next 10, 20, 30 years.
When you train this way, you enjoy the freedom to:
Move without hesitation or pain
Learn new skills like handstand, press to handstand, splits, and muscle up
Tell your body what to do and have it listen to you
My 1:1 coaching and the Movement Freedom app are the resources I wish I had 10 years ago. They work for real people with real bodies, and I guarantee they’ll work for you.

If you’re ready to stop patching together random drills and finally start seeing consistent progress, let’s work together.
