Straddle Roll Up

Cues:

  • Start in a hollow with shoulders down and feet as low as possible
  • Straddle wide, keeping the feet as low as possible, and bring them around to the top
  • Roll up until you touch the feet to the floor
  • Reverse as slow as possible 10s is a good general time, but slower is great
  • Imagine trying to drag the feet on the ground around the outside

Mistakes:

  • Bending knees
  • Not pointing toes
  • Creating momentum, or dropping the legs on the way down
  • Failing to straddle as wide and low as your abilities allow
